I wrote this yesterday.

And it felt worth sharing…

But as I share this I keep adding updates …so… yeah :)

This is nice.

Today's been nice. The best day in my week, actually. I woke up @ 6 AM, my brother and I drank some water and went on a walk in the rain. I had a couple of meetings, got reminded how much college is a crapshoot–that's always fun. And I studied for math. Ran a little. Podcasted a little. And wrote a little.

Learning:

STOP EATING RANDOM SHIT. Processed food makes me feel gross and weird and blechy… so let's eat clean this week.

I mean I already do eat clean… but a little more can't hurt ;)

Brooo

Spending time with my brother in a little bit… I DON'T DO THIS ENOUGH. My brother is a really cool nice brother and he deserves me to be there for him. I am literally leaving this little dude in less than a year.

WHAAT. That hasn't sunk in, and I can guarantee myself it will.

So let's give him time. I want to give him time. I like being around him as much as he likes being around me. I might just like it a little more.

This week:

Bursted bubbles. Wrote essays. Built tornadoes (that popped in my head I promise I didn't create a tornado). Took some tests. Won a tournament (and got 4th at the other). But I also had energy problems.

I don't like energy problems.

BIG LEARNING:

College apps are a process.

Mind blown? Probably not… but a good reminder nevertheless.

As beautiful as they are (I know I'm crazy), they can get to be crazy… but it's all up to my perspective and methods of living through it.

So let us live.

Ooh also:

Did a bit of writing this week… spent a couple of days on that Berkeley Essay I was talking about last week… AND IT’S AWESOME I’M SO PROUD OF IT.

It brought together a metaphor I had planned for my entire body of work that was the PIQs so beautifully I’m so happy.

So yes.

Let us live.

update:

We (Atharv [my brother] & I) went to Sprouts, spent some time shopping, and then took a very long and fun route back home, bouncing to music, riding rollercoasters, and enjoying each other’s company (I know I enjoyed it).

I love this little munchkin.

And it was probably the best time I’d ever spent with him this entire school year.

And if that could be the way he remembers me when I go off to college, as a dude who cared (and I do), I’m gonna keep doing it.

And he’s pretty cool too.

Funny how things work, huh.
